PCL Nursing

 

Aims

The aims of our college of different levels (PCL Nursing) are as follows:

• To provide sound educational programme in Nursing to enhance graduates to assume responsibilities as competent professional nurses and midwives in providing promotion, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services in all health care units.

• To prepare Nursing graduates passed from SLC level and PCL level staff nurse with 2 years working experience  who can conduct research work in the field of Nursing practice and assure the role of nursing teacher, supervisor, Nursing incharge in all kinds of health care activities.

                                                

Objectives

The main objectives of our college are as follows

• To apply Knowledge from humanities, Biological, Behavioral science and medical to provide Nursing care to individuals, faculties and communities.

• To demonstrate competency in providing health care to individuals sick or well, using nursing techniques.

• To assist in research activities.

• To demonstrate skill in teaching to individuals and groups in clinical and community health care.

• To demonstrate use of ethical values and moral principles in their personal and professional life.

• To assist in the general health care and midwifery activities in the rural areas conducted by the local VDC/NGO/INGO offices.

• To demonstrate skills in administration and leadership while working with other members of health team and community.

• To participate as member of the health team in delivery of preventing, curative and rehabilitate health care service.



Eligibility for Admission

The students would be eligible to apply in different levels of study with their under given basic qualification.

Those who have passed in SLC / equivalent examination with minimum 45% in aggregate can apply for PCL Nursing affiliated to CTEVT

All the above course have been prescribed by CTEVT and Nepal Nursing council for PCL Nursing. The medium of instruction is English only. The program of study leading to PCL Nursing is offered by CTEVT.
